Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is in a less than ideal location, near Stansted airport, which is convenient for early flights. However, the rooms felt neglected and were poorly positioned next to the kitchen. The service was lacking, with overworked staff. The dining options were average at best, with limited choices for breakfast.
The hotel offers a mixed experience with very small and somewhat tired rooms but a very spacious and comfortable bed. The service is a mix of wonderful and helpful interactions, overshadowed by slow reactions and limited seating arrangements for events. The location is charming with a large fish pond but also a bit unloved, albeit conveniently close to the airport. The dining experience fluctuates between chaos and nice views, with missed opportunities like the American pancake option. Facilities offer a mix of chaos and nice views.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was impressive, but the noise from the flight path was a downside. The rooms had several maintenance issues, and the makeshift out-house experience was a real letdown. Despite some service hiccups, the staff truly made our wedding day special. Dining was a mixed bag with high prices and disappointing food choices.
